Carlos Díaz is 13 years old and in the third grade. Together with his cousin, Maria, he lived up in the mountains overlooking Peña Blanca, where there was no school. They both came to PAHS suffering from malnutrition. Today, Carlos knows how to read and write. He is very grateful to be receiving an education. |
