Daniel Avila, age 20, is being trained in the field of Auto Mechanics at the Vocational School. His mother, Elsa, was abandoned at PAHS as a child. Daniel is a bright, cheerful boy that works with the cattle on our dairy farm after school.

Josue Lozano, age 17, is the oldest of seven siblings who were abandoned at PAHS. His father was dangerously abusive and his mother brought the children here for safety. He makes top grades in school and is especially fond of math and is even tutoring his classmates before exams. Josue is in the ninth grade this year. He is also a thoughtful boy who never shies away from doing his chores or from helping others.

Moises Lozano, age 16, is in the sixth grade, he is the second oldest of the 7 Lozano siblings. He loves all animals, but he especially loves working with our cows on the dairy farm. Moises is a hardworking boy who is always quick with a smile and greeting and is very polite.

Alejandro Lozano, age 14, is in the sixth grade and he is the class (and dorm) clown - always making those around him laugh. Alejandro is also a good student earning top marks like his brothers. He is friendly, boisterous, and outgoing.

Sergio Avila, age 16, is in the tenth grade this year. Sergio is a reserved and mild mannered boy who constantly has a smile on his face. Sergio has been here most of his life along with his brother Daniel and his sisters Patty and Jamie; their mother Elsa was abandoned at the Nutrition Hospital.
