Merari, age 13, is in the 7th grade. She is from a small town high up in the mountains that does not have a high school. The worthy student program allows students from remote communities who have good grades and the desire to continue their education to come and live at PAHS. Merari is shy, but has made new friends and learned about Jesus and the Bible since coming to live at PAHS.
