 Tiffany Perla, is 19. Her parents live in a small mountain village that has no high school. Tiffany is a bright girl and a hard worker. She is currently taking dentistry at the university in San Pedro Sula. |
 Nelly Leiva, age 13, a very intelligent student, was brought in as an infant neglected and undernourished. Her mother had abandoned her and her sister Avis. Nellie is in the ninth grade this year and is one of the youngest in her class. She is very bright and excels at athletics. She has a special love for animals and enjoys climbing trees. |
 Moises Garcia, age 8, is in the third grade. Moises' single father brought him to PAHS for malnutrition as 6 month old infant. Many months went by that no one visited, when the father finally returned one of our nurses aides asked if she could keep him to raise as her own. Moises is a sweet and mild mannered little man who does well in school. |
 Karen Aguilara, age 8, abandoned by her mother at birth, was given to PAHS by her dying father. As she was a tiny newborn she was taken in by our sewing teacher to raise. She is a sweet shy girl who enjoys going to school and playing with friends. |
 Gabriela Moran, age 13, is in the ninth grade. Gabriela's mother was a student on our campus in the 1970’s and became an Adventist during her stay. The school in her village requires attendance on Sabbath so her mother brought her here so that would no longer be an issue. She is a sweet girl who does her work cheerfully and is very happy to be attending school with like minded friends. She likes to be involved at church. |

 Beatriz Argueta, age 16, is in the eleventh grade. Her mother, Marlene - abandoned here as a child in the Nutrition Hospital – now works doing cleaning and laundry for the Nutrition Hospital. She likes leading out in Drama and played the role of “Mary” at the Christmas play; she tends to be shy, and is creative, and a very good student. |
 Karisa Argueta, age 11, is in the fifth grade. She is the daughter of a single mother who works here to pay for her children's schooling. She is mild mannered and helpful. She is a good worker who does her chores cheerfully. |
 Yorleni Colindres, age 7, is in the second grade. She is being raised by her grandmother, our Boys' Dorm Mother. She has a contagious smile, is precocious and intelligent, and loves to talk. |
 Franklin Ortiz, age 8, is in the second grade. His mother abandoned him and so now he is watched over by his grandmother who happens to be our Boys' Dorm Mother. Franklin is a mischievous and bright little guy who likes to play with friends in the fruit orchards. |
 Jonathan Flores, age 7, was brought to PAHS as a toddler suffering from malnutrition and neglect. His family abandoned him and he has been here ever since. Jonathan is energetic, bright and helpful. He is in kindergarten. |
